The Investor KITAS is designed for foreign nationals seeking to invest or establish a company in Indonesia. It offers the convenience of multiple entries and allows a continuous stay of up to 2 years.

Applying from Outside Indonesia:

• 2 Years Visa:
  • IDR 16,000,000 + USD 150 Visa Fee – Regular (14 business days)
  • IDR 19,000,000 + USD 150 Visa Fee – Priority (7 business days)

Applying from Within Indonesia:

• 1 Year Visa:
  • IDR 20,000,000 – Regular (14 business days)
  • IDR 22,000,000 – Priority (7 business days)
• 2 Years Visa:
  • IDR 25,000,000 – Regular (14 business days)
  • IDR 27,000,000 – Priority (7 business days)

Length of Stay

• Valid for 1 or 2 years, with the possibility of extension.

What You CAN Do with the Investor KITAS

• Engage in business, investment, and company establishment activities.
• Serve as a member of the board of directors or commissioners in the invested company.
• Travel to and from Indonesia as long as the permit is valid.
• Reside in Indonesia for the duration of the visa.
• Visit friends and family or participate in tourism activities.
• Bring eligible family members under your sponsorship.

What You CAN NOT Do

• Perform work unrelated to the stated purpose of the residence permit.

Visa Validity

• Must be used within 90 days from the issuance date.

Document Requirements

1. PMA (Foreign Investment Company) company documents.
2. Passport valid for at least six months.
3. Recent colored photograph.
4. Personal bank statement showing a minimum balance equivalent to USD $2,000 (last 3 months).
5. Evidence of share ownership worth at least IDR 10,000,000,000 in the guarantor company listed with the Ministry of Investment.
6. Ministry of Law and Human Rights decree legalizing the company’s establishment.
7. Company current account statement for the last 2 months.

Additional Information for Applications Within Indonesia

• Requires a Single Entry or Multiple Entry E-Visa.

Important Notes

• International bank transfers may take up to 5 business days to clear.
• Processing time excludes weekends and public holidays.
• Applications begin only after funds are cleared into the account.
