Address Mutation (Official Address Change)

Address mutation is the process of updating your official residence address with the local immigration office. This is a crucial step when relocating to a new address within the same city or to another region, as your immigration records must reflect your current residence. The address change is essential for maintaining accurate documentation and staying compliant with Indonesian immigration regulations.

There are two types of address mutation services:

1. Same Immigration Office (Bali area)
   If you are moving within the same immigration office jurisdiction in Bali, the mutation process is relatively straightforward, requiring less administrative handling. This type of address change applies when you’re relocating within the same area, which is convenient for those who stay in Bali but shift their residence to a different neighborhood or town within the island.
2. To Another Immigration Office (Bali area)
   If your new address falls under a different immigration office jurisdiction, the mutation process will involve transferring your registered address to a new immigration office. This service is required when moving to another district or region within Bali that is governed by a different immigration office. This process may require additional paperwork and coordination between the local immigration authorities.

  • IDR 500,000 – Regular processing (14 business days).
  • IDR 850,000 – Priority processing (7 business days).
• To Another Immigration Office (Bali area)
  • IDR 1,000,000 – Regular processing (14 business days).
  • IDR 1,500,000 – Priority processing (7 business days).

The price varies depending on the complexity of the mutation and how quickly you wish the change to be processed. The regular option will take a longer time (14 business days), while the priority option speeds up the process to half the time (7 business days).

Document Requirements

To complete the address mutation process, you will need to provide the following documentation:

• Bali Visas application form: A completed form detailing your request for address change.
• Scan of Passport: A clear scan of your valid passport to confirm your identity and personal details.
• KITAS (Limited Stay Permit) Copy: A copy of your current KITAS, proving your legal stay status in Indonesia.
• Domicile Letter: A letter confirming your current address. This document can be obtained from your landlord or housing provider and must be signed by both parties to validate your residence at the stated address.

The accuracy and completeness of the documents will facilitate the smoother processing of your application.
